Pinot Noir has a reputation for being a temperamental variety, but New World Pinot Noirs ̶ especially those ideal for everyday enjoyment ̶ offer robust fruit flavours, gentle tannins, and a harmonious balance of acidity and fruitiness, making them an excellent match for meals, particularly Japanese cuisine. These wines hail from regions where cool breezes temper the mild climate: Hawke's Bay ①, Adelaide Hills ②, and the Central Coast ③ (influenced by cold Pacific currents.
