　“マールボロ･ソーヴィニヨン･ブラン”の固定観念を覆して樽熟成を取り入れたローソンズ･ドライヒルズ①。モントレー･カウンティ北部からの冷涼カリフォルニア･シャルドネ②と、冷涼地の純粋な果実の風味を樽を使わずに表現するデラタイト③の対比。ヴィクトリア州で収穫が最も遅い産地のエレガントでスパイシーなシラーズ④。1993年から造り続けられるシラーズとグルナッシュのオーストラリアン･ブレンド⑤。そしてマーガレット･リヴァー、ウィリアブラップ地区の古木畑からはカベルネ⑥。いずれも自然発酵や控えめな樽使いなど冷涼産地の魅力が素直に表現された質実剛健なワインです。

Lawson's Dry Hills ① challenged conventional perceptions of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc by incorporating barrel aging. Taste the difference between a cool-climate California Chardonnay from northern Monterey County ② and a Delatite
Chardonnay ③ that expresses the pure fruit flavours of its cool region without the use of oak. There's an elegant, spicy Shiraz ④ from one of Victoria's late-harvesting regions, and an iconic Australian blend of Shiraz and Grenache ⑤ that has been made since 1993. Finally, a Cabernet ⑥ from an old-vine vineyard in the Wilyabrup sub-region of Margaret River. Each of these is a beautifully structured wines that truly reflects the attractions of its cool-climate origin through winemaking approaches such as spontaneous fermentation and restrained use of oak.
