Autumn brings plenty of delicious seasonal produce, and what better excuse to enjoy a good glass of wine? This set of three whites and three reds brings together versatile, food-friendly wines from Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Argentina and Portugal to make everyday dining that little bit more special.

From Marlborough, Lawson's Dry Hills Riesling ❶ offers lovely lemon and floral notes with refreshing, lingering acidity. Argentina's Amalaya White ❷ combines the fragrant charm of Torrontés with the crispness of Riesling, while d'Arenberg's Hermit Crab ❸ blends Rhône varietals for generous fruit and a little extra body. Three aromatic whites to enjoy with everything from grilled salmon, mushroom dishes and roasted root vegetables.

Among the reds, Australia's Little Yering Pinot Noir ❹ is light, approachable and wonderfully versatile. Try it with duck or richly flavoured seasonal fish. Portugal's Fitapreta Red ❺ blends indigenous varieties into a wine with depth, elegance and a comforting, almost nostalgic charm. For something more substantial, Chile's Koyle Cabernet❻ delivers concentrated fruit and firm structure from organically and biodynamically grown grapes ̶ just the
thing for a hearty meat dish.

From light and bright to rich and hearty, six wines to savour all autumn long.
