カベルネの名手モスウッドは1977年植樹の無灌漑畑リボンヴェイルを2000年に購入。南に2Kmと近いが、より冷涼で、収穫はモスウッドより約2週間遅い。地形による気温差、方角、粘土質など土壌の影響という。凝縮したダークフルーツにタンニンやスパイスの複雑さ、力強さと優雅さを兼ね備え、長期熟成でさらに進化。

In 2000, Moss Wood, the Margaret River masters of Cabernet, brought Ribbon Vale. This dry-farmed vineyard planted in 1977 just 2 km south of Moss Wood is significantly cooler, with harvest approximately 2 weeks later, the result of the unique topography, vine orientation, and soil. A deep and complex nose, the full-bodied palate shows great concentration of red and dark fruit, combining power and elegance, complexed by extended aging.
